I want to help organize a strong Extinction Rebellion group focused on the Great Lakes. We need to work on Canadian/American cooperation in protecting that water. Last time I checked there was a strong node in Minneapolis and nacent nodes in London ON, Hamilton ON and Arbor, MI. I haven’t participated in an American event, but I was in the UK while XR were gaining momentum last summer. I have this book. I am currently working alone, so I’m starting from Square One but I’m on sabbatical so I have some unscheduled time I can use. I plan to stand out in public Friday and I would welcome anyone who wants to join me somewhere downtown. I was going to start at the Joe Louis fist sculpture and see how that goes.
