ContactContact

The audience is invited to touch two conductive patches on the costume. This completes an electrical circuit and creates sound, through the body’s natural conductivity.  This public act sparks conversation about private and communal space and how to set conditions for safe connection with strangers.

ContactContact is an interactive costume with performance. The audience is invited to touch the costume which uses the conductivity of the body to complete an electrical circuit and create sound. ContactContact was performed at the SF Maker's Faire and the Austin Maker's Faire in 2007.
