Vanishing Point

2008

PROJECT DETAILS

Vanishing Point engulfs the audience in a suspended, distorted map of Lake Winnipeg.  At the far end of the work, a water wall slowly erases pencil boundary lines delineating farmland in the region. The piece addresses environmental concerns about Lake Manitoba, the tenth largest lake in the world with a watershed forty times the area of the lake.
